Broward Health announced a new chief internal auditor, Deborah Hall. Her previous roles include compliance and privacy officer at Randolph Health in Asheboro, North Carolina; vice president, chief compliance and privacy officer, internal audit at the Healthcare District of Palm Beach County in West Palm Beach; and revenue cycle compliance and privacy officer at Sisters of Charity in Broomfield, Colorado.

The Greene School, an academic private academy in West Palm Beach, announced the appointment of Steven J. Lyng, Ph.D. as the head of the new Upper School. Lyng previously was Interim Head of High School at Leman Manhattan Preparatory School in New York during the 2021-2022 Academic Year. Prior to that, Lyng was a 10- year member of the leadership team at Windermere Preparatory School in Orlando.

The Florida Department of Education named Seema Naik, a fourth-grade teacher at Eagle Ridge Elementary School in Broward County, as a finalist for the 2023 Florida Teacher of the Year award. Naik founded Eagle Ridge Elementary School’s first Robotics Club in 2017.

Palmer Trinity School announced Abiodun Adeyemi as head coach of the Varsity Boys’ Soccer program. Adeyemi has extensive experience as both a player and a coach. Adeyemi has a professional career spanning 12 years in the United Soccer League. After retirement, Adeyemi received his National “B” Coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation and coached for the United States Soccer Federation Development Academy in Boca Raton. Most recently, Adeyemi was director of soccer for Boys and Girls Middle School and Varsity at Somerset Academy Charter. He was also head coach and director of Girls’ Soccer Operations at Miami Country Day School

Impact the Palm Beaches announced that Lauren Sterlacci will serve as the 2022-2023 president of the philanthropic organization. Sterlacci, a retired financial executive, is a founding member and sponsor of Impact the Palm Beaches.

The Adolph & Rose Levis JCC named Marty Haberer chief executive officer. Haberer was president and chief executive officer of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix for the past five years. The Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Foundation Inc. recognized Illustrated Properties General Manager Virginia Spencer as a 2022 Women in Leadership Honoree during its 38th annual Women in Leadership Awards Celebration. Also, Illustrated created the “Virginia Spencer Charity Award,” given annually to an agent who positively impacts his or her community.
