Burglars target Smethwick industrial unit twice in one day and steal transit van

Burglars targeted a Smethwick industrial unit twice in one day, making off with a transit van. Property was also damaged during the raids at the business in Mornington Road.

The thieves struck first at about 8am and then between 10pm and 11.30pm on Sunday, March 27. A Ford Transit van was stolen.

Police have released images of men they want to talk to in connection with the burglaries.

Sandwell Police tweeted saying: “#APPEAL | Do you know any of these men? We want to talk to them after an industrial unit in Mornington Road #Smethwick, was targeted twice by burglars on Sunday, 27 March, first at around 8am and again at between 10pm and 11.30pm.

“Damage was caused to the premises as property, including a Ford Transit van, was stolen. Please message us via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk, quoting investigation 20/332821/22, or call 101.
